DO WE REALLY UNDERSTAND THE MEANING OF THIS SCRIPTURE;

  2 Corinthians 8:9 [NIV]  "For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich." DID CHRIST BECOME POOR SO THAT WE BECOME RICH AND WEALTHY HERE ON EARTH...I SAY UTTER FALSE.  So whats the truth of the matter... 🤗 I've heard people who ought to know better, try to support the Prosperity Teaching using this verse. The prosperity gospel is neither a small nor isolated error. The fixation with money and material riches pervades the theology of its adherents, corrupting every aspect of their faith and doctrine. It is a comprehensive lie — one that skews the very nature of the gospel itself, distorting even the Person and work of Christ.  Jesus' parents were so poor that Jesus was born in a stable. They had to offer the poor man's sacrifice of two pigeons when Jesus was dedicated in the Temple at 40 days of age (Luke 2:22-24; Leviticus 12:8). For Joseph was known ...

GO OUT AND BEAR FRUITS WHICH WILL LAST FOREVER.

 OUR GREATEST ASSIGNMENT  Before Jesus Christ was Crucified he gave us his last will . He commanded us to abide in him and his word to stay in us and bear much fruit that will last forever and bring glory to the Father. JOHN 15  describes perfectly Jesus' instructions to  his church  “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes[a] so that it will be even more fruitful. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. 5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire a...

THE LOVE OF OUR HEAVENLY FATHER

 The Love of our Heavenly Father is amazing and unconditional.  (2 Corinthians 1: 3-11) Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ. If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort. We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about the troubles we experienced in the province of Asia. We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired of life itself. Indeed, we felt we had received the se...

OUR FREEDOM IN CHRIST JESUS

  Galatians 5 :1-15 New International Version (NIV) It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Mark my words! I, Paul, tells you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all. Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law. You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. For through the Spirit we eagerly await by faith the righteousness for which we hope. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. You were running a good race. Who cut in on you to keep you from obeying the truth? That kind of persuasion does not come from the one who calls you. “A little yeast works through the whole batch of dough. I am confident in the Lord that you will t...

BECOMING THE TRUE TEMPLE OF GOD

God never intended for this modern temple in the first place. His son Jesus came here to prepare each of us as a temple where his spirit dwells. When the curtain  in temple tore from top to bottom this was a sign that each person can approach God's throne not through any priest but only through his son Jesus who is our high priest now (1Corinthians 3: 16-17). Becoming  a temple of God starts with accepting Jesus as your personal Lord and saviour who comes in your life and cleanses every sin by his blood that he shade on the cross. After then he seals you with the Holy spirit who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession (Ephesians  1:13-14). It is the Holy spirit that helps us to put to death every misdeed of the body. He prepares us to be that temple of God where God dwells through his spirit. And those who are led by the spirit of God are the sons of God. It is also the spirit that testifies that we are God's childr...
