HOW CAN YOU SAY YOU ABIDE IN CHRIST YET YOU REJECT HIS WORD

So many people have rejected the word of God and have turned to heresies and the commandments of men. Are they worshipping Christ or men ??? Jesus himself clearly says it is his word that sanctifies us and cleanses us from all sin, his word is the truth and light for us. So when you reject his word you have rejected him completely : John 15:3 [3]Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. This scripture clearly says that it is the word of God that cleanses us from all sin. How will you know the will of God if you ignore the word of God and treat it as trash. It is the word of God that shows you your sin and what you need to do to repent and turn away from it. :John 17:17 [17]Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. The word of God is truth, when you cling to it and do what it says that is total deliverance for you. It is power that can break the power of sin. When Christ was tempted in the desert he spoke the word of God and Satan ran away from hi...

BE ON YOUR GUARD AGAINST ALL KINDS OF GREED, A MAN'S LIFE DOES NOT CONSIST IN THE ABUNDANCE OF HIS POSSESSIONS

In life we often over look the most important things and give importance to things that matter less.  Our lives are full of dissatisfaction always wanting to have more each day that passes by to the extent of exploiting others so that we can meet our desires and ambitions at the expense of others. Its always about us  and how we can enjoy life smoothly.  We tend to desire the best for ourselves not even willing to share the little  we have with others. We pile up things for ourselves  because we know that the more wealth we have the more secure we are and life easied for us. But Jesus called this kind of ambition greed and he warned us that we should be on our guard against all kinds of greed, a man's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions ( Luke 12:15). In other words, the more possessions you have does not grant you life. Life is a gift from God and we can't find it in our accumulation of possessions, you can't buy it with money ,its m...

HE WHO WANTS TO BE THE GREATEST SHOULD BE A SERVANT OF ALL.

In this world the norm is that the servants those in low position are meant to serve the greatest but Jesus changed this perception when he highlighted that " HE WHO WANTS TO BE THE GREATEST SHOULD BE THE SERVANT OF ALL" . During the end times of his ministry when he had prepared them for service a dispute rose among them on who was to be the greatest among them. He listened to them intently and he gave them time to go through their topic . When they were through he called them to himself and asked them about what they were arguing about. Luke 22:24-27 gives more light about this all sense. LUKE 22:24-27   Now there was also a dispute among them, as to which of them should be considered the greatest.  25  And He said to them,  “The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and those who exercise authority over them are called ‘benefactors.’   26  But not so  among  you; on the contrary,   he who is greatest among you, let him b...

MY PEACE I LEAVE WITH YOU

John 14:27 says, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you. I do not give as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”  Ezekiel 37:26-27, “I will make a covenant of Peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant. I will establish them and increase their numbers, and I will put my sanctuary among them forever. My dwelling place will be with them; I will be their God and they will my people.” Peace; what is Peace? And who is Peace?  The fall of man in Genesis chapter three opens the door to the truth about he secrets of the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God is Righteousness, Peace and joy in the Holy Ghost (Romans 14:7). And these are matters of the heart. Jesus said; the thief comes to kill, steal, and destroy. But I have come that they may have life and life more abundantly (John 10:10).  When man sinned and disobeyed God, he became like what Ezekiel describes in Ezekiel 37 ‘a valley of bones’. God had instructed man not to ...

THE MATTERS OF THE HEART. WHAT THE HEART WANTS IT WANTS. WHAT IS IN YOUR HEART?

THE MATTERS OF THE HEART  Question; what is in your heart?  1 samuel 16:7 says that “the Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance but the lord looks at the heart.”  Today, the Holy Spirit taught me something precious and priceless. I have always wondered why every time I get something I thought would make me happy, I end up not. Question why, couldn’t tell. And every time the answer i would get from within the deepest of my soul is ‘the heart wants what it wants.’ So I began to wonder what was in my heart. I would ask myself,  “Rachel what do you really want?” it is simple but in truth very complicated. So I invite you to walk with me on this journey called the matters of the heart.  What is the heart? And what is in your heart? The bible is full of scriptures that talk about the heart. All throughout the bible from Genesis to Revelation God’s attention is put on the heart. When God speaks, he speaks to the heart....
